This render was a part of a 5-week specialism project for university, in which the project would reflect industry standards for a specified specialisation, whether it be foliage creation, environments, material creation, modular kits, or props. I would set my own limitations and goals during these 5 weeks and abide by them. I chose to do a prop with a maximum level of detail and texturing while remaining within the confines of the limits set for myself.
This prop would be strongly influenced by the The Last of Us game series by Naughty Dog. I decided to model the signature Beretta Jaguar pistol collected in-game.
Limitations:
Must be under 45k tris.
Maximum size for textures was 4096x4096.
